Andiyi had a memory card of sandisk 8 GB in which the windows was unable to format?

Right Click on the Memory card and check for properties and see, if it is showing 1.85 gb then you need not format or try to format in FAT32 if you are using NTFS.

That's a common problem with MMC's... here something that might help:

Use a pencil and erase the contacts of the MMc card, this will reveal the shine on the contacts. Try replugging it again.

A hidden application is disrupting your format process download "unlocker" software application from google, install it then right click on the memory card icon you find unlocker option double click n press unlock all after this try formating your memory card will work fine

I would suggest that you have a corrupted inaccessible memory card. Your card is damaged and won't function properly.

As far as I can see from the manual the e100 series player only supports up to 2 GB memory SD cards, see page 8 (=7) of the manual:

Formatting the SD card of 2 GB should be in FAT format, see:

Go into Finder-preferences and select under devices: external disks

try formathing the 2 GB card with fat.

Plug Memory Card Into Memory Card reader. Make not of drive assignment. (EX: "E:")

Open my computer...

Right click on "E:", per example above...

Click on FORMAT.

oh! too sorry for that..you have formatted your card and you cannot put the files back.. but after you have formatted it is the problem had been solved?
