Can you use the menu buttons on the TV to navigate to the control panel to automatically or manually add channels? That would be a start to make channel 3 exist again.

Remote was lost. Tried to adjust the station and now I cannot get the TV to go to channel 3 so converter box will not work. Itied a universal remote did not work. Help

I assume, that the TV is skipping chan 3 when using the Channel buttons on the TV.

You can try 2 things.. First see if your converter box will use chn 4. Usually there will be a very small switch on the back of the box marked with a small 3 on one side and 4 on the other. If so, use that till you get a replacement remote.

If that's not an option, you can also, Re-scan the channels on the TV. to find all available chn for memory.. BUT FIRST making sure that the converter box is on and working.
The TV shuold then detect that there is a signal on chn 3 and make it available to the chn buttons on the set.

You will have to use the menu buttons on the set to do this.. Hopefully one of the buttons is the menu call up, then you use vol or chn buttons to navigate it.
Hope this helps

How do i put it on channel three manually?

If the remote to your box can be paired with your tv then you should be able to fix this problem simply by pairing digi remote with tv and while in tv mode on remote, hit the input button. That should change tv back to cable/antenna setting so that you may access channel 3. Hope this was helpful.

I need to manually turn the TV to ch 3 and cannot because it skips it from 4 to 2.

Enter "3" or "03" on the remote and press OK/Enter.  If the channel-skip feature is set on for Channel 3 you cannot get to it using the up/down buttons.  Go to the setup menu to disable the channel-skip for Channel 3 if you want to tune it with up/down buttons.  If you have no remote you should be able to access the menu from buttons on the front of the TV. (They may be inside a door or panel.)

Go to the Menu setting, and do a auto channel scan, it will automatically program it to NOT skip 3.

The easiest will be to make sure that the cable box is on and sending out a signal to Channel 3 and auto-programming the set. Channel 3 is skipped because the last time it was auto-programmed, there was no signal on that channel.
