We bought this clock for Mother. Nursing Home did not give us the instructions when she passed. Suddendly the hands started spinning around REAL FAST. Hubbie put a new battery in but it still just goes around fast and then stops at the inncorrect time. How do we reset it? I love the large numbers and the style.

Question edited to what I think you meant to say :>D
Change the battery for a new one. check that the hands of the clock have have enough clearance to pass each other. It sounds like they are clashing at 1:05. Press the hour hand on and then the minute hand. If they are metal, you can bend them a fraction. If it still does it, send it back.
I have not been able to find instructions online for the Seiko Melodies in Motion Clockpost Willie (a clown figure standing along side a clock on a post.)
The Melodies in Motion clocks are manufactured by Seiko Clocks. This is the link to the Seiko Clocks home page: https://www.seikoclocks.com/
Near the bottom left of the home page, you will see the link to Customer Care. Click or tap on that link.
On the Customer Care page you will see the toll free phone number and the email address to use to ask if the instructions for the clock are available and how your mother can obtain them.
There is no hazard if the unit is a name brand and the batteries are OEM. It might get warm and the battery life is shorter over time but there is no reason to worry about fire etc.
I think you've got the wrong type of web site. You might call the local police, if they don't know, they may be able to direct you some other department where they can tell you if she passed away. Sorry we can't be of more help than that.
have you ever found solution - what are you doing now about it all... we had same car - got rid of it -no one could fix it !!! needed a car that would start - difficult giving it up but what other alternative is there ? get stuck away from home? bought a new Cadillac - amazing car !
This is only a suggestion...try using a code for an Orion TV or an Emerson TV. See codes on the back of the instructions of the replacement remote! Hmmmmm.......... try it and see.
If you can get to the hands of the clock you can spin them to the correct time which is how I do mine-Of course you may have to remove the front cover or door to do so
The clock is searching for a strong enough radio signal from NIST station WWVB. When it can't lock on it, it gives up, moves the dial four hours, and goes to sleep to wait for better reception. Put the clock in a window facing towards Boulder, CO, overnight. (Radio propagation is better after dark.)
