I inadvertently deleted some video clips from m sony Handycam DCR-SX63 camcorder? Are they lost forever? I deleted them less than 24 hours ago. But I have since used the camcorder.

remove the memory card from your Sony Handycam and than insert in to your computer, connect the camcorder, go into your computer and click on the camcorder, than click which video or picture you want and send it to your memory card and than insert it back into your camcorder, because I don't think it has transfering cababilities within, hope this helps

Use an sdhc card reader like this http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-Flash-Memory-Reader-TS-RDP8K/dp/B001NS0OZ4 which you can connect to iMac by USB cable that comes with it.

The error message seems to be a repair issue. However, please follow the troubleshooting steps and check if that helps.

select video footage list, select the clip you want to delete, press delete button/trash can, confirm delete.

You may try some recovery software to rescue the files on your recorder, here are some for your option.

Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the camcorder in case the original files(your recordings) are overwritten.
