These machines only have one sensor that gives the paper jam message, and its not uncommon for a foreign object to find it way inside and hold the little black lever open and give you a false paper jam message.
so first remove all paper from both the cassette and rear feed, then use a torch/flashlight to look inside, you might need to open the rear door and look in there as well.

Machine is reading paper jam but the paper was removed and the reading still persist
Hi,

which Printer are you using? You might need to open the printer paper feeder or where the toner is loaded or a paper jam door in your printer to clear the paper jam. sometimes its a torn piece of paper that's stuck in the paper print rail that might trigger the paper jam signal.

MESSAGE : RECORDING PAPER JAM
Dear
The paper jam is a common problem, you need not to replace to ink cart.
Check the plain paper inserted properly or there is no paper inside, Put power OFF and ON. Also some model needs to press OK or START key to remove the paper jam message after removing the jammed paper.

Paper Jam.
unplugg power cable from pritner. press adn hold 6 and # key on printer at same time. while holding them down plug it back in at same time. let pritner alligne afdter that. then it shud work fine

My lexmark t520 wont print it says paper jam but there isn't one?

I think that you problem is feed rollers. If you take the paper tray out and look inside you will see two white rubber paper feed rollers. If you feel them and they are smooth,then they need to be replaced. They should feel ruff.

Printerjam
A paper jam error message will appear if the printhead is not correctly installed. Try removing and reinstalling the printhead again, but make sure it snaps into place. Try loading a sheet of plain paper and press at the same time copy+cancel; hold them down until the printer feeds the paper. The paper will go through the rollers and come out blank.
