Oven

I'm new to a gas range and I'm not sure how the oven works. We have the self igniting oven, the top burners click when you turn the knob. When I turn the knob for the oven on to light, I don't hear a click. When I turn on the oven I see a light come on where the broiler is. Am I supposed to light a pilot underneath there or is this how the oven works? Is it supposed to have that clicking sound when I first turn the knob like the others on top of the stove?
