Google maps: street views keep going to a split screen with street on top and satellite on bottom. Also street views in full screen mode disappear after a second and the split screen mode reappears.Very annoying.

Lite mode Use "Lite mode" link in the bottom right corner of the map, so that you're using a simplified version of Google Maps. Being in Lite mode means that:

• Maps will work faster for you in Lite mode
• Your browser or operating system may be outdated
• 3D Earth view and other 3D imagery won't work

Compared to Google Maps, Apple maps display much less information like certain street names, street directions, and subway stops. SPLIT SCREEN.

It sounds as if you might have split screen mode on. I've got a TI-83 as well as a TI-89 Titanium, both offer a split screen mode. The latter allows for choosing which applications are displayed on each half screen. I am presuming that you may have accidentally put your TI-84 in this mode.

So, if it is a split screen deal then all you have to do is go to the mode screen, find the option for switching from split screen to full screen, and switch it back to full.

There are programs that allow you to view to your home such as
Google Earth Maps.google.com/earthview it is a large program however runs very well as well as giving you street view.However it does not update.

If you don't have an address for the corner you can put in any number for one of the streets. Then instead of pressing GO press VIEW MAP. Drag the map, with your finger, until the corner of the 2 streets is just under the pointer. You'll need to zoom in, by pressing the + in the top right corner to get it exact. You can then press save, to save it in Favourites, or press Go.

I had the same problem with my westinghouse 47 inch HDTV. It turned out that someone had inadvertently hit the "format" key on my satellite (Direct TV) TV remote controller. If you have satellite TV you might want to check this out. I set it back to the previous setting and I get the entire screen. Hope this helps someone.

You can add in a mapful of congestion/construction warnings for the existing map, using a CF card and some street & map program. Just use a generic prefix for the congestion so you can tell it's your note.

You should definitely send feedback to Garmin about how the streets end (maybe linking to a Flickr group full of pictures of how the streets are not passable,) so that they can update their maps. Speaking of that, you can also check that you have the current 'firmware' (and maps) for your city with their update tools.

What city did they not get good satellite photos of? Lucerne?

You should use MapSource provided by Garmin. It works, I use it.
