Hello
You can use 75Ohms impedece co-axial cable to extent the antenna connection. Make sure to use a very well shelded cable. Use Moster brand if available. OK.

To extend the antenna of your Jlu 121Potter, you need coax cable. You can follow the general system diagram which is in the manual to attach the extended antenna.
You can also follow "http://www.c-trak.net/ctrak/Downloads/JRC/GPS_Plotters/JLU-121/JLU-121b.pdf". for more information.

Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

How to configure Car stereo antenna?

The configuration of a car stereo antenna depends on the type of antenna that you have in your vehicle. Here are the steps for configuring a few common types of car stereo antennas:
  1. Manual Antenna:
  • Locate the antenna mast and the antenna base.
  • If the antenna mast is extended, pull it down until it clicks into place.
  • If the antenna mast is retracted, turn the antenna base clockwise to extend it.
  • Tighten the antenna base to secure it in place.
  1. Power Antenna:
  • Turn the car stereo on.
  • If the power antenna is not already extended, press the "Power" button on the stereo or on the dashboard to extend it.
  • If the power antenna does not extend, check the fuse and the wiring connections to make sure they are secure.
  1. Amplified Antenna:
  • Connect the antenna cable to the amplifier.
  • Connect the amplifier to the power source and ground.
  • Turn the amplifier on.
  • If the antenna does not extend, check the fuse and the wiring connections to make sure they are secure.
It's important to note that these are general steps and the specific configuration for your car stereo antenna may differ. If you are unsure about how to configure your antenna, it is best to consult the owner's manual or a professional installer for assistance.

I am trying to extend WiFi signal at camp site with a Linksys AC1900. Is this possible?

not really unless you were to run an ethernet cable from your existing network to a location outside of the current wi fi range.
A repeater would be better
https://www.tomsguide.com/us/best-wifi-extenders,review-2225.html
It hears the wi fi signal so you put within the signal range near where the signal still can be heard near the extent of the current wi fi range. It will hear the signal and then re-transmit it to extend the signal range .

You might be able to use a gain antenna of 5dbi 2dbi is lost in the cable usually so it is 3dbi which is twice the level
http://computers.mwave.com.au/electronics/High-Gain-Antenna

another method would be a omni directional antenna facing the coverage range . But it is beaming in one direction .
which means more signal strength in one direction

I have problems with my plotter Raymarine Rc 435 chart plotter. This plotter can not location my ship to do.What is problems?

Be sure there isn't any aluminum in close proximity to your GPS antenna, or that your antenna is not to close to other powerful electronics. Aluminium reflects electromagnetic signals and other electronics emit EM fields as well causing disruption of your GPS signal reaching your antenna.

Mr2 power antenna

The antenna mast is extended and retracted with a flexible strip of plastic cable with teeth. The antenna motor turns a gear which drives the cable in (mast down) or out (mast up). These cables do break. You can buy a whole new power antenna assembly or just the plastic cable. Replacing the cable isn't hard, just tricky-- getting the cable to coil up properly inside the antenna assembly can be a pain. You probably can grab the antenna and extend it manually, but you may not be able to push it back in.

Raytheon rl70

I've had the same problem. before replacing the antenna, try to reset the antenna by removing power to the Raystar 120. Disconnect power by either turning off all batteries or disconnecting the red wire from the antenna at the point where it enters the junction box for the chartplotter. This action effectively removes all memory from the antenna and resets it to factory settings. There is a lithianium battery in GPS antenna that holds memory data in the antenna. Disconnecting the power to the antenna for a few seconds clears the memory.

This is exactly what I did and when I turned the chartplotter back on, my Raystar 120 immediately began working again.

450c Plotter apparently dead

Check the cable connections, and the cable connector inside the plotter. Make sure your cables are good.
