SOURCE: childs 12 inch mongoose is new, but back wheel does not spin prop

The bikes are pre-assembled by a machine that overtightens the rear axle.  I had the same problem with my daugher's 12 inch huffy princess bike and my other duaghter's 16 inch Schwinn bike.  If you loosen the nuts on the back axle it fixes the problem.  I have read that the idea thing for these bike is to have them re-assembled and re-lubricated by a bike shop, but I thought this might cost as much as I paid for the bike.

it's kinda tricky to put the bracket on, but it should have come with a weird bracket that kinda looks like a brake caliper, the bracket goes around the back of your frame, as opposed to attaching to the wheel pin like the inStep trailers...if you don't have the bracket, i dont know what you can do

SOURCE: i took front wheel off bike to fix puncture. i

Loosen up the hub nuts. Center the wheel between brake pads. Put something like a screw driver in the space between wheel and frame to keep the wheel centered and not moving as you tighten the nuts.

I have just bought a EVO Healthstream treadmill ev525t to help my cancer child to keep moving. I got it secondhand and it screams E6 and mat wont even move. I so upset i dont know where to buy parts

This product is very unreliable and if you purchased it 2nd hand you know why the owner wanted it gone. The base of the machine also breaks after regular use.

Unfortunately they are also expensive to repair and I would not be throwing any money at it but try to sell it off as a repairable item.

An inexpensive exercise bike is probably a better choice than a treadmill which generally are quite expensive for a quality product.

You can do this job on your own, as long as the right side shock stays attatched to the bike. Good luck!

Can you add a child seat to the diamondback clarity bike?

That would depend on the specific child's seat and what it requires for attachment points. I imagine the smaller bike frames might limit the ability to maintain clearances between the child and moving bike or rider parts.

There are a number of different schemes. Try these...

I have been given a safe rider tag along trailer bike for my son to use. However the hitch is too large for the saddle pole. the asddle pole is 1nich and the hitch at it's tightest is 1.2inchs. I have...

A shim is exactly what you need. If you're bike shop can't/won't help you, trying talking to the old guys at your local hardware store. Not a big box store though...go to one of the small places that sells all the small odds-and-ends that the big box stores don't carry. Look for the oldest in the place and explain your predicament to him. He may be able to figure out a solution for you from what the store has in stock. And if you find the right guy, he'll even enjoy the challenge you brought him.

Any number of materials would probably work...a small section of pipe (metal/pvc/pex/abs), a steel collet, even a plumbing fitting! Just be sure to bring the bike (or just the saddle post) and the trailer bike.

Hope this helps.

We bought a used Burley d'lite bike trailer and want to know what all the straps are for. There is no manual with it. Can we get one?

If you have the flatbed they are for securing the load. If you have the child carrier they are either the straps that act as cusions or the ones for securing the child. The straps on the outside are for starpping accesories and structure.

I JUST BOUGHT BICYCLE TRAILER FOR 10.00 AND THE PART THAT ATTATCHES TO BIKE IS MISSING IT IS A SCHWINN YELLOW AND BLUE.I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WOULD MOUNT SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF PART I NEED THANKS THOMAS...

Sounds like you bought a Schwinn Spirit Bike Trailer. Here is the link to the manual for that model. They all basically attach the same from Schwinn so should be enough for you.

IN the manual is a website and phone number to call for parts.
