I have the levono ideapad U350 for a approximately a year and a half and recently the sound system does not work properly. If I connect the headphones the sound does not work and without the headphones the sounds work properly out loud where everyone can hear it. I have tried different headphones but the volume still doesnt work when connected to the computer. HELP

Has the HDD been modified in any way, ie the Lenovo system partition been deleted to make more HDD space? If the partition was deleted, the recovery system will no longer work.

No, you can't reset a battery. If you can't charge it and the charger works then the batery is dead , replace it.
