Hi elph37,

Try opening it from the bottom, and removing the internal PCB's. The Buttons will be situated against the roof of the cover. Just remove and clean each button individually. There might be grime keeping the button stuck, or it has shifted to an off center position.. Anyhow, this procedure should fix the issue.

Kind Regards

I am using my mother's Elgin 3400E travel alarm

On my Elgin alarm clock, you just push the nap button and it will add 15 minute increments for a nap. I haven't figured out how to turn it off if I change my mind or wake up earlier than I set it.

Mitel 5224 Speakerphone not working

it is likely the phone is in headset mode. If you've got a headset button programmed, then it should be lit.... if so, press it and it should work for you.

If you don't, you might be able to use the blue superkey to either turn off headset mode or set a button.
Press the Blue superkey, Press an unused button in the two rows of buttons. Press the "Change Key" softkey (under the display). Press No until you see headset key... press Yes.
Press the superkey again to get out of the programming.
Now that you've got the key programmed for headset, press it, if it's lit, press it again. Test your speakerphone.
If this doesn't work, I believe you would have a defective phone and should report it to your system admin or telephone system vendor for repair/replace.

Sincerely,
Mark

I have an error code 68 what is this?

The error code means a key is stuck; enter the service diagnostic mode and perform the key test to determine which key is stuck. Once the key is determined, try to unstuck it; replace the Electronic Control Board (Part Number AP3851146 if the error code continues to appear after the button is unstuck.

Press and hold simultaneously the Select and Cancel buttons for six seconds to reset the control then immediately after the buzzer sounds, turn the cycle selector knob 5 clicks counterclockwise to position the cycle indicator light second (Touch Up) from the bottom.

Press and hold the Options and Cancel button simultaneously for two seconds to enter the service diagnostic mode. The buzzer will sound three times and all of the LEDs will flash indicating the service diagnostic mode has been entered successfully.

Rotate the cycle selector knob 4 clicks to the Heavy Duty cycle; the motor runs with the heater off. The buttons can now be tested. Press each button and all corresponding LEDs should flash; otherwise the button is stuck or a faulty. Unstuck the key and perform the key test again; replace the control board if the problem is not resolved.

Access to the control board requires the removal of the top panel and the console. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Remove the two screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the dryer then slide the panel rearward and lift it off the dryer.

Remove the four screws, two on each side, securing the console to the front panel then flip the console forward. Disconnect the wires from the control board and lift the console off.

Remove the five screws mounting the control board to the console and lift the control off. Remove the control board's rear cover by releasing the two locking tabs the flip the cover off the control board. Try to unstuck the faulty key and reassemble the dryer in reverse of the disassembly steps.

Hope helps.

I keep pressing menu and it tell me OSD Locked? How do I unlock it?

This has most likely annoyed many of you at some point. You turn on your monitor one day and see a jeering message telling you something about an "OSD Lockout". It doesn't allow you to change any of your monitors settings, including the setting intended to turn off this message. While I've only seen this error on HP monitors I know that others have encountered it on other brands as well. The fixes I provide should work on those monitors too. (Note: OSD stands for On Screen Display.)
Fix One:Plug in the monitor and power it up. Hold down the Power button until you get a message saying "OSD Unlocked". If the problem persists after OSD is unlocked then unplug the monitor from the wall, wait 20 seconds and try again.
Fix Two:Turn on the monitor and hold down the Menu button for 10-20 seconds. This should unlock the OSD.
Fix Three:Turn off the monitor, press down the Menu button and then turn on the monitor. Wait 10-20 seconds. This should unlock the OSD.
Fix Four:The Menu button may be stuck in a pressed in position. To get it "unstuck" you'll usually need to open up the monitor. This could be tricky unless you know what you're doing. Unfortunately there are too many models of monitor for me to provide detailed instructions. If you have warranty this is where you want to contact the manufacturer.
