Hi sir good day here is my solution, since your unit is turn on then turn off you need to check first the power supply look for shorted component at the same time capacitors with bulging on top to its casing it cause a voltage drop. replaced it with the same value a panasonic FM or FC series much better with low ESR. you can find replacement parts at www.digikey.com. now check also the ballast board for the lamp which cause the clicking if their is a bad component here the board will turn off then their is no picture.hope this may help thanks for consulting us feel free to ask further question.
thanks for the response yes it needs a thorough trouble shooting since the problem is not simple only like just replacing a fuse.almost parts inside are dealing with high voltage and before replacing parts or board a thorough check up first needs to be done which need a will trained people to fix. however at least you have an idea what to expect when you decide to hire for somebody to fix the problem. thanks again for consulting us.

Thanks Vince. I am not an electronics person. This sounds like a repair that may require some professional help with? Is it cost effective and possible to just replace the power supply? I may be able to handle that.
Thanks,
Yes.
