I can not install print master version 18. I had it installed but some how i lost it . Now i want to reinstall it. please help.

Well go ahead and download ESET - http://www.eset.com/us/home/products/antivirus/ and slect 30 day free trial. after that do a custom scan and do a deep scan of everything and after that it will tell you what going on. if indeed you do have a trojan that cant be handled i would recommend getting a reinstall of windows sometime to be all the way safe just get a new hard drive but go and do eset and do the deep scan and see where your at.

I don't think Printer Master Platinum 10 will run on Windows 7. However, solution #3 on this page (http://www.fixya.com/support/t2129564-printmaster_platinum_10_version_will_not) references how to make it run on Windows Vista. The same is true for Windows 7. You can run almost any software in compatibility mode. Since they're up to version 18, I doubt it will work with Windows 7.

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues, which is the case with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18, you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. Right click on the program shortcut click on properties from the menu and click on the compatibility tab , check "Run this program in compatibility mode of windows xx" and select the version of windows in which the program used to run. Apply the settings and open the program again. If the program still doesnt work try to reinstall or get an updated version for windows 7 maybe Print Master 2010.

Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
