My dehumidifier won't work. when you turn it on it says "bucket full," and shows one percent on the digital screen. I replaced the red switch that monitors the water level but it still doesn't work. i also tied to bypass the bucket all together and that didn't work either.

Two things generally cause this problem. If your unit has a Float Valve inside the bucket, it's stuck in the 'Up' position, which under normal conditions, indicates to the unit, that the bucket is FULL. If you don't have that, then when the bucket was last inserted into the bucket holder, it did not trip the bucket removal safety switch. Remove the bucket and reinstall it, making sure that it fits squarely into the hole from top to bottom. Leave the unit ON when you do this, because if you do it correctly, the unit will automatically start and run. Also, be sure that humidity extraction level is set on 32 - 35 %.
