Hello,
The problem i believe with your washer is a snubber ring. What is is and does is a teflon coated coated that fits between the tub support and the base frame ,both the support and frame are metal and during spin the tub has some movement espically during the high speed spin. This snubber fits between those two parts and allows the tub to move and is will slide around on this snubber.when that snubber has ground down to nothing when the tub moves it's not sliding on this snubber but grinding into the base and rocking the entire machine around, vibrating and walking all oveer the place(hehe..i seen one washer that had that snubber bad walk to the corner store and get a sandwich) Replacing that snubber will once again allow the tub to move freely and the snubber will asorb that movement, keeping the base solid and not rocking. To replace that snubber the entire tub asm. must be removed from the washer to replace the snubber

Hello penpoint1959 - The tub is stabilized in the center with multiple springs which attach to the base of the washing machine and the frame of the tub. If one of the spring(s) is loose or broken, this may result in the tub being off center. Other possibilities are, the unit is not level and the load of clothing is not balance evenly in the tub. I personally first verify that the unit is level and the unit is being loaded evenly. If correct, and if I was in your position I would contacting a certified technician to move forward accurately and to assist with the repairs.
