I have same problem having been using wii fit for month but now it keeps freezing and doesn't acknowledge movement on board. Batteries recharged etc and have tried re-booting, switched off all power it can back on and worked for body test then stopped again when training

I have the same problem, I've been doing the aerobics for over a month now, every day at least 5-6 times and it is suddenly not detecting my movements and "missing" steps. I've spoken with Nintendo 4-5 times, changed batteries, changed position of board, moved sensor... all to no avail. Any fixes out there?

My Wii Fit has was working and now doesn't recognize my right foot. I've also had problems where it doesn't record steps. Now it doesn't recognize me for a weight check. I've done the same things as the others, batteries, re-sync, etc. What do I do now?

I have had my wii since Sept 2008, and it is getting progressively worse in regards to recognizing my steps. It does it for both feet. I have really noticed it when I to the aerobic step. I have tried new batteries, rebooting, changing the placement of where it sits in regards to the tv, moved the sensor. What more can I try?

my wii fit wont recognize my movement or when weighing it says not able to weigh to much movement or not flat surface what to do?

  • msterrilynn Dec 11, 2008

I've had my board for approximately 2 weeks and it fails to recognize movements from the left side on some of the steps and also on the hula. Seemed to work fine at first. The step part it starts missing on is the side movements - when we go purple. However, it is just the left side.

My WII fit is having the same problem being described. Center of balance is way to the right. Weight is inaccurate. Hula hoop has trouble with left side and doesn't recognize doing steps. Goes into analyzing and can't recognize and you have to continually try the reset. At this point it's pretty much useless. If anyone knows a solution, I'd appreciate it.

My board is doing exactly the same thing. Keeps saying I'm fidgeting and has my center way off to the right upper side. I'm going to try the setup page I read about on here and hopefully I can get somewhere.

My weight was very accurate and then all the sudden one day it says I lost 25 lbs, I know that is impossible and not right. I have tried unplugging, turning on and off, changing batteries, position of where I place the board, nothing working. I have had others in my family try weighing themselves also and it is not weighing correctly. Also the center is pointing to the right and won't go in center, says my balance is way off. Any help would be appreciated

I figured out why both my remotes and Wii Fit Board started having a delay/echo. It was my new TV! I have a brand new flat screen. So if you think this might be your problem as well, find the original remote for your TV (not the cable remote) and look for a button that says GAME or something similar. Press for GAME MODE ON and try your games again.
I was having problems with so many games like Rhythm Parade and Aerobics that needed exact mirrored movements and everything was off. Fixed! I called the Nintendo Customer Service line and they gave me this info 1-800-255-3700

Wii fit board has a delayed response

check where your motion bar is located and notice your motions in respect to it. If you are too close your motions will be rash, and thus out of sync.... Try backing up your wii fit board and your stance when playing games. This also gives a delayed response... Make sure you are 6-10 feet away from the motion sensor bar...

We have an intec action board for our wii but don't know how to sync it with our wii because we don't have the directions

Okay, so I played 1 wii game and calibrated the board. Each wii board type of game has a profile creation wizard (mine is wii fit), which guides you through calibrating your movements on the board. Once you have a profile, the board understands the movements as directions or coordinates.

Then you can load your profile when you play the game, not the calibration wizard.

My Wii Fit hasn't been synced yet, because when I insert a disc into the console, the Wii does not respond. It doesn't recognize the movement of the Wii remote on the screen. What is the issue here and...

do you have the Sensor bar hook at the back. Insert the sensor bar plug into sensor bar connector on the back of the consol.placed the sensor bar above or brlow the t.v screen. SEE if that work and let me know

We fit is reading our movements backwards. For

Ok, here's what I did to solve the problem. When I used a game/exercise that was backward (meaning you had to lean to the right to get the Mii to move left)...I would simply turn the balance board around backward and "wala" it worked!! But of course, you have to remember to turn the board back around when using other games/exercises that didn't have this problem. It was so much better than trying to do everything backward!! Hope this helps!

Wii Fit board not staying on

Best suggestion is to make sure the game is fully loaded before pressing the power button.

If it's not working, make sure you press the red sync button on the Wii Fit Balance Board AND the Wii Console.

I know you tried new batteries, but make sure they are really NEW batteries (My experience is that the alkalines work best).

If it still doesn't work, then you may need to contact Nintendo direct.

Good luck!

Wii balance board weight differently after put on a wii board sk

Sometimes the silicone skin can have an effect on the Wii Fit Balance Board if it gets pinched. Make sure that it is not interfering with the the total movement of the top portion of the Wii Fit balance board and the space between the top and the middle of the unit. If there is any obstruction, refit the skin on the balance board.

Wii Fit instructions for movements are all in reverse

No it is not how Wii Fit is supposed to be. First, let me suggest that you ensure that the power button on the Wii Fit Balance Board is facing AWAY from the TV set. This may seem silly, but it's the most common error. As for the Hula Hoop game, make sure that your weight is all on the side of the Wii Fit Balance Board in the direction that you need to lean to catch the hoop.

There have been instances of the sensors in the Wii Fit Balance Board going out. If you have tried the above steps and you are still getting errors, please go to www.nintendo.com, register your product, and open a problem ticket with them.

Good luck!

WII FIT Board only recognizes movement on one side

Try doing the balance board test to make sure all the sensors are working probably. Click on "User Settings" (the wrench) on the wii fit plaza page. From there your should click on the "wii balance board check." It will walk you through the process and check your sensors to make sure they are working.
