Power surge brand new maytag fridge not cooling

That power surge probably burnt out the guse on the circuit board. I suspect you may need a new board unless you know an electricity geek who can replace the fuse. New I would check your warranty. That circuit board might cost $200. plus..

Had an electricity power cut during the night. Next morning, tv had no lights on it at all and won't switch on. Checked fuse, power lead etc?

sounds like you have had a brown out or a surge they go strait pass the fuse and fry almost all the electronics in the unit. due to the damage that occurs we do not fix these units we write them off as respect to our customers. some techs fix them but they never last. far to much damage. but there is good news all insurance companys cover surge damage if your not insured and even if you are if you have suffered a surge/ or brownout then your electricity provider must replace the unit damaged. and from now on always use power boards with surge protectors in them they cost about $ 9 and cost far less than a $ 1000 tv

best of luck to you

Hi all...!!! Power failed and came back minutes later. Can't start HP Media Center M7060n Green light on back flashes slow when power not connected, slower when power cord connected but I press the ON...

On HP computers, I believe that this means that the power supply or the motherboard is bad. I assume that the outage was due to the thunderstorm and you may have received a surge. In your manual, there should be diagnostic light codes where they will outline the exact meaning. Again, to the best of my knowledge, this means that there is a bad power supply or a motherboard.

We HAD A POWER SURGE NOW FRIDGE WILL NOT SWITCH ON

99% chance that the surge blew the power supply board. If it is a French door, bottom freezer model with ice and water through the left hand top door, it may have taken out the motherboard too. Samsung uses at least two boards, one main motherboard and a power supply board that powers the main.

Power outage, now pc will not power up at all

OK FIRST A POWER SURGE PROTECTOR WILL ONLY PROTECT YOU 7 % OF THE TIME, WHICH YOU JUST REALIZED. SO YOU NEED TO BUY A BATTERY BACKUP ALSO KNOWN AS A UPS.... I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. BRING YOUR PC TO BEST BUY AND THEY WILL TEST YOUR POWER SUPPLY, IF IT TESTS OUT OK THEN YOU BLEW SOMETHING IN YOUR MOTHERBOARD. GET A BATTERY BACKUPS/UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Message usb powersurge

A usb power surge occurs when a usb device is drawing or providing too much power to a port. I would recommend replacement of such device before continueing. To trouble shoot what it is unplug all usb devices, start the computer, then plug devices in one by one.

Power outage last night. Deleted all saved voicemail messages. when turned on - machine says "no massages" How do I retrieve lost messages?

I'm sorry there isn't. Answering machines like this have very little ROM memory. After a powersurge and outage like last night, it wiped the whole memory chip. You can try there support page. It's actually pretty good. http://telephones.att.com/telephones_ui/support/index.cfm
