I've been playing 2k11 (PC) for a few months now, a few days ago during my 38th game of the second season in My Player Mode, against the Portland Trailblazers the game froze i couldn't do anything so i was forced to close it.The next time i opened the game it was fine i just had to replay that Portland game.Some time later during my 42nd game i was playing Memphis and near the end of the 1st quarter I saved and exit the game.(I'm not sure if it was during a timeout i believe it was). The next day i loaded my player and once i got to the screen where it says my objectives for the game and press "space" to continue, i did but the screen went black and moments later it crashed to the desktop.I tried a few times and nothings working. Then i installed the patch and now i can't even open the game it says wrong disc inserted.I've uninstalled and re installed but no hope.I've tried using both north american and the European version separately of course.

Easy Skill Points

At the begging of a season you get 10 new drills. Before you start your new drill, subtract on point from you 3 point stat, which gives you around a 1000 skill points to spend on anything else, then complete a shooting drill by attempting only 3s to get your 3 point attribute maxed out again. This is a simple way to get extra skill points. You can do this anytime you get a drill.

Hi, the reason why the game keeps freezing at that certain point is most likely due to a bug in the game. I know NHL 12 use to have freezing issues that weren't patched. Since the game is outdated there is no fix for this issue. I would recommend maybe updating to a newer version of the game (NHL 17 etc.) and playing from there.

Is this 2k11 for pc?If this is for PC maybe the game need other software installations before you can play the game.

You will need to install first because it is a requirement of the game. Also direct X is need to play it. Direct X installer is included in the 2k11 Installer.

Is there the possibility that your PC's video card lacks a 3D rendering component to make it work? I looked up the system requirements to make this game work, direct from the manufacturer's site, and they're showing you need a card that supports 3.0 pixel shading...I had this problem making some games work with my home-built HTPC when I first tried gaming on it a couple years ago. Download NO CDVD EXE from here
Then extract
and replace the exe fiel with the game exe file which is located in C:/program files/Ea sports/ Nba 2k11
Replace it and Play the Game..

You may need a new copy of the game, or get your wii checked, call Nintendo about it, or e-mail them, the disk may also be scratched up. This used to happen to me a few months ago, the disk drive got overheated, maybe that's your problem, but if it doesn't happen to other games, than it's that one copy, or the game (including other copies) might not work. tried to get it repaired.

I had the same problem a few months ago. Apparently, Comcast's software called "Constant Guard" was doing something weird like disguising keystrokes or something. Whatever their software was doing, my games were not aware. After uninstalling Constant Guard, problem solved.

If you started incurring this problem after installing Constant Guard, I recommend uninstalling it. You can keep Norton and all the other stuff associated with Comcast's anti-virus package without affecting your games.

i have the same problem im on my second year after winning the finals against the lakers, i averaged over 50 pts a game, i chose to stay with my team, the nets, then when i try to play my first game of the season i cant, it freezes and makes a buzzing noise, i think you just have to restart on it, start a new game, and if your really desperate to keep your player, then make him on the normal gameplay mode, i did that, but ill warn you he isnt as good on that as he is in myplayer mode.

DUDE- I have played 09 on xbox 360 through 4 seasons three different times with liverpool and each time the same thing happens. it happened to me a 4th time last night. so today i came up with the resolve to solve it. AND I DID!!! basically, if you conduct contract negotiations after the league season is over but you are still playing UEFA/ECC games it will 100% crash your game once you get into the next season once the trade season begins. If this happens it will corrupt your save file permanently destroying the future integrity of the game, like a digital Russian Roulette. To be sure this doesnt happen to your team's save file, keep a back up file safe that you won't adjust right before the season ends. at the end of the season a contract negotiation screen comes up. you need to make sure that when you go to the contract negotiation screen everyone listed on your team who has less than 12 months left on their contract is listed with "the computers" offer to be resigned, therefore extending their own contract based on their terms. you will see all sorts of wild offers, especially if you have been under paying your players. As per the Bosman ruling these guys are treated as free agents during the transfer window, so the game is modeling REAL life. However, if you sign them after the season is over but while you are still playing euro competitions then this will corrupt the save file for free agents. This crashes the game, maybe perhaps because some other team is trying to sign that "Bosman ruling" player on the computers own terms, but he improperly still belongs to your club for less than 12 months. WOOOOOT gonna play another 4 seasons. pass this on. Keep backup saved files at the mid point between transfer windows and right before the regular season games end based on your schedule. ENJOY!!!

A few months ago was the peak of Windows Virus Season, so it's likely you picked up one or more. I have seen viruses this season that denied your browsers to access the interned though some of the computer's resources still had access.

Run a full virus scan in safe mode with your up to date Anti-Virus program. If you don't have Anti-Virus and a running Fire Wall, I suggest you do after you format and do a clean install of Windows.
