Hi I have a GE Profile DPGT750GC gas dryer and it doesn't heat. I've had this model for a few years and it worked fine until about last year. The drying wasn't good at times but didn't happen often to pose a problem. Now the dryer doesn't dry at all. I open the door midway through a cycle and get hardly any heat sense or very low even when the temp is on med. or high. I also would run a cycle and stay to listen. Most times I hear a weird sound like an engine dying down and then i would hear a faint beeping sound at certain intervals. I would look to the back and see the, I'm sorry I forget what its called,( the silver venting hose?) and I knew the dryer was working when it would expand. Now it doesn't do that. I need help. I would rather not have to buy a new one. This was a good model and I want to try to save it. Thank you for time and help.

I have a ge harmony gas dryer and the blower isn't work can this cause a no heat issue

Yes. The blower draws the air from the heat source thru the tub and out the blower exhaust. This link should help with the Blower wheel assembly they also have diagrams or illustrations of your specific model

Hi. My mother had a flood in her basement recently and although her 5 year old ge Profile gas dryer was set up on blocks off of the floor the bottom section got wet and it had stopped working. The...

you need to inspect the ignitor/glow coil that ignites the gas in the burner tube as they are very fragile, then on the burner tube body check the radint sensor eye it can be dirty, clean it first or then replace it,the gas valve boost and secondary coils on the gas valve could have been damaged and they keep the gas valve open to supply gas to the burner, then also check the thermal fuse on the vent blower housing as water could have ruined this component, also check all wire connections for water corrosion too

I need to find where the fuse is in my GE profile gas dryer DPGT750GC1WW. WE need to find this because our heat doesn't work so we need to replace the fuse

The model number you gave is for a gas dryer.
You will not find a thermal fuse in this dryer.
Your problem with no heat most likely lies in the gas valve or its subcomponents like the thermistor/flame sensor or igniter/glow coil.
