There are a few things thatcan cause you to lose wireless connection with your wireless router. 1. Weak signal strength, check the signal strength on your wireless card. If it is weak move thewireless router away from brick or concrete walls and if possible locatethe wireless router higher up. 2. Have you secured yourwireless router from people near your from unauthorized access? i.e. change thedefault password, setup encryption use WPA2 or WPA, change the default SSID,and turn off SSID broadcast, and for added protection, enable MAC addressfiltering which allows only the MAC address/es of your wireless card/s toconnect to your wireless router. 3. You could be gettinginterference from electrical sources such as air conditioners, arc welders, washing machines etc. If so, the power supply to the wireless routers andcomputers etc should be connected to a surge protection power board, betterstill connect your computer equipment to an UPS (Uninterrupted PowerSupply). 4. Check the channels ofthe wireless routers and access points in your area and change the broadcastchannel on your wireless router to an unused channel or one that is currentlyused but has the weakest signal strength. This will minimize interferencewith your wireless router from other wireless routers and accesspoints in your area.

I have no wireless connection to my ipad if i am in a different room from router d-link

Is your router sending out SSID broadcast messages so it can locate the iPad? Some people disable this feature, and the router can't locate the iPad or vice a versa. I don't think that is the problem though, you may have to much interference with walls and such and are not getting a strong enough signal. Check to see if your router is sending a strong signal on your iPad. If not, that could be it. If not, I am not really sure why this is happening. It really seem like a signal problem to me.

IPhone connects to wifi if I am close. If I go to another room the wifi falls off. Could it be my battery or something else

It could be your wireless router also. In some cases, the router's signal isn't strong enough to reach to multiple rooms.

If your photo battery seems fine, then I would begin troubleshooting the wireless router.

Hope that helps!

I have a Qwest PK5000Z modem and it does not send the wireless signal strong enough to initially connect a laptop in the other room. I can walk the laptop next to the modem and back into the other room and...

There are a few things to try:
  • Move the router to a location that is higher off the floor
  • Move the router off of metal cabinets or away from large metal furniture
  • Get rid of 2.4 GHz cordless phones and buy DECT 6.0 compliant cordless phones
  • Buy a 9DB gain antenna for the router
  • Change the channel that you are using to one that you're not using: 1, 6, 11 (choose the one you're not currently using)
  • If your house has lathe and plaster walls, realize that these walls are like concrete -- they reduce WiFi signals by 13dB ( a lot -- drywall only reduces signal by 3DB)

Wii lost connection to internet how to reconnect

FIRST, you want to check and make sure that your router is working and sending a network signal. When you find that it is and your Wii still won't connect, try moving your router to a better location where the wii can receive the signal more clearly. Then go to the Wii "Options", then Wii "Settings, Scroll through screens to "Internet" option, then "Connection Settings". Choose your Wireless Connection that you were using and do a "Connection Test". Sometimes it's only a matter of a couple of feet and the signal won't be strong enough, especially if the Wii and the router are in seperate rooms. If all else fails, simply clear the settings for the wireless connection you were using and start from scratch by re-entering the connection settings for your home network. Hope this helps!

Why is the internet connection a fail on the psp

Well for starters you could type where people can read what you are trying to say... but the main reason why it might not be working is because the signal isn't strong enough or it has a WEP key that you need to know... also is the router that you are trying to connect to your router?
