The door doesn't stay shut. When I close it stays shut for about 10 seconds and then pops open. Seems. that the seal is not holding properly. The suction is not strong enough to keep it closed.
If Your Refrigerator's Freezer Door Pops Open When You Close the Fresh Food Door...
If a 'top-freezer' refrigerator's freezer door pops open when the larger fresh food door's closed, it's actually a good thing. That tells us the seals are in great shape, sealing well.
Some freezer door 'pop' is unavoidable bc the bottom door's so much larger than the top one and the hydraulic effect of compressing all that air kicks in. The two compartments share the same air via a duct between them, and that compressed air rushes up into the freezer compartment and can 'pop' the door.
To improve the situation, apply a few drops of oil (sewing machine oil or 'three in one' - NOT WD-40) to each freezer door hinge pin. (Even better: if you can, pull the doors and coat the hinge pins with petroleum jelly). This will help the freezer door swing back closed by itself. The freezer door usually stays ajar because it's binding a bit, and that's usually caused by it's swinging 'dry', with no lubrication.
It’s also a good idea to ‘kick’ the habit of letting the refrig door close hard.

I have a GE Profile refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom, when I close the freezer door, the refrigerator pops open!
I have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator. Recently the freezer side door won't stay firmly closed and sealed. It closes more like a cupboard door, shut but not sealed. Sometimes it seals a little, but when I open the refrigerator door it pops open.
my top of the range fridge freezer had the same problem. only the fridge will not seal when i close it. i had to push the door to seal. opening it makes a sound pop. but it will not seal. i keep finding the door just a little open. i do not know how to solve this problem. i even looked online forums for a fix.
Same thing with me. It's relatively new, less than 2 years. All I can do now is tape it shut to make sure it won't open until I find a real solution to it.
The refrigerator is beeping every 10 seconds, doors are sealed, temperature is fine
