I have a May Tag front in loader Model No. MHWE251YL00. After a wash cycle my clothes come out saturated with water. It is showing error codes, F4 E2. We have already cleaned the drain filter.

sounds like a bad clutch or transmission. if its belt driven check for loose belt. In a direct drive a bad motor coupler will not allow spin either, a clogged pump will also hinder drainage

Why do I have to dry stuff twice.?

A lot of times when your dryer doesn't dry your clothes ,the problem is with the washer not spinning properly. Then there is too much water left in the clothes so the dryer can't remove it all.

Washer won't shift into spin

with a lot of the machines now they wont go into spin mode if the drum is not balanced properly, like say you had a load of towels in their, well it wont spin as its to unstable to spin without wobbling around so it simply stops at the spin cycle and does nothing, you can try this by turning it on with no clothes in and see if it will go into the spin cycle with no clothes in, if it does then chances are its not weighing the clothes properly and would end up costing a fortune to put right as it sounds like you spent a lot of money on parts all ready, so give i a try with no clothes in and see if it will spin, have you tried turning the drum by hand when its switched off to check for any grinding noises or jerking when you try to turn it by hand, im not sure how the balance sensor works or even where it is as its a new feature in the last few years but people are now starting to have problems with this feature and it stops the machine from spinning leaving the clothes soaking yet, so give it a try empty and see what happens

My whirlpool machine does not spin properly and there is always water left after the spin cycle, when its turned on it will stop after spin cycle like its finished but there is still a lot of water left in...

hi, it sounds like one of two possibilties, will try and help out. The first thing to check is whether the water/drain pump is actually working fine, i think it blocked. Secondly the pump may also be overheating and malfunctioning during the cyle, run it without clothes and check the flow of the drain during the drain/spin cycle and take it from there.

Water left in clothes

The shaft was designed to rotate into 2 directions: one for agitation, one for spinning. The spinning direction is controlled by a mechanism from the clutch engagement. When your plastic pulley wears out, it effects the mechanism to spin. The driving force for spinning is slipped, therefore the spin is weak As a matter of fact, the water remaining in clothes n in turn discharges to the bottom tube

Washing not spinning water out of clothes

Must be something in the pump obstructing the water flow.
