If your trying to make calls on your pc and it says failed due to sound problem, try using a set of headphones and a microphone instead. That should solve your issue.

Why is it that only one of my Philips speaker is working on the right side, but not on the left side speaker (no sound coming from it at all) after plugging into the USB port of my ACER laptop computer...

try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
hope this helps

I have Laptop ACER Model No Aspire 5610.previously Sound was functioning Properly. Now only after inserting the headphone pin i can hear the sound .if i take out the pin & or if i call from my laptop...

The Speaker of your laptop has a problem. You need to check the connection or it could be the speaker was dusty due to not functioning. Try to clean the speaker of your laptop but if the problem are not solve you need to replace the speaker for that laptop.

I have an acer cpu connected to my hp monitor with built in speakers...but I have no sound?

That is a common problem. You need to purchase some new speakers from your local Radio Shack or computer store.Plug them into your cpu. Very cheap fix about $10. The mix and match connection of the HP and Acer never seems to work. The HP monitor will work with the Hp computers but not others.

I am using acer travelmate 5520-5678 and the external speaker only works from the left side. Both works when I connect my headset..

sounds like the spaker on the left hand side is unhooked, blown or the pre-amp in the laptop that drives the speakers is bad, headphones are uneffected as it is a seperate system.

STATIC IN RIGHT SPEAKER

Generally if it is only one side, the actual speaker has failed. Try connecting headphones, if they are fine than the soundcard (chip) is fine.

This would indicate that the speaker has failed (a lose connection inside can do this as well but that is much more rare).

No audio sound, mic doesn't work.

Hi,
For audio please install the mother board audio drivers for your PC. The driver cd is provide with motherboard when it is purchased. If this doesn't work, try connecting the speaker jack to front panel of your cpu.
For mic to work properly, make sure you connected the pink color jack of the speaker to the pink port of the cpu(Back side of cpu).
If did nor find drivers, download it from the internet by giving the motherboard type and the number.
I hope it should work now. Thank you

No Sound Now on Computer

Might be trivial, but try the volume controls, that little speaker icon on the Windows task bar.
