When I connect the Kworld DVD maker usb to my computer, I am able to see the video on the computer but doesn't allow me to record it because it says it is COPYRIGHT PROTECTED even though it is a home video and for sure it is NOT copyright protected! Basically, this is not doing what is meant to do. Is there a way to fix it? tHANKS

The 1 yellow and 1 black female outlets are likely for RCA Phono jacks and older VCR connections. DVD Maker sounds like you would use a camera that has USB cable to the computer and the computer writes DVDs using the Kworld DVD Maker 2.
If this is an older (1990s) camcorder with tape, then it won't work with your computer or DVD player.

if using Windows make sure to check the Sounds and Audio device Properties by Right clicking the speaker icon on the right side of taskbar. Check all tabs for Recording settings, there may be recording tests on some pages...check Advanced rbuttons for recording settings.
note settings prior to modification so you can change them back if needed.
The sound enters the PC through the 'line' input audio connection. In the audio panel controls, ensure that the line input is enabled, and the gain is not zero.
Often these programs have settings for video. For example composite video, SVHS, etc and sound formats too. You have to select them before the picture and sound appear. Even down to the video quality. You might also have to select options for the source of both video and sound. On the software and also in the computer. If you are using windows for example, right click the speaker icon and it will give you sound recording options.
