Looking for flin flon area azimuth elevation skew angles my dish got moved by a storm and i can't get the signal

You can find the coordinates for Shaw here:

http://www.shawdirect.ca/english/customercare/techcentral/locator.asp

Bell Express View will be different--just Google it.

Mast must be vertical. Elevation is most critical, then azimuth, (direction) then last is skew.
If only the az has been affected (likely if it was just the wind) then turning the dish in very slow increments should eventually find the satellite(s)

I find the signal for 119west but when I go to the receiver to cancel out of the 'point/dish-signal' window and starts to download the information, it changes back to satellite 110. Is it the LNB? cables?

The receiver is not seeing 110. This could be due to a misaligned dish. This can be caused be improper skew, elevation, or azimuth setting. It also can be due to a non plumb mast which is the tube the dish mounts to if attached to the building. Your signal can be the greatest indicator of issue. If 119 is in 110 to 125 unmodified meter or 85 to 90s modified meter then you are most likely pointed directly at 119 and will need to turn the dish slightly to the left and possibly upward.

If it is not and alignment issue I would need more info on your receiver number and how you are configured.

Can't get Dish500 satellite system set-up

If you tripod or mount is perfectly plumb and you have the correct information for the settings at your current location then you may have a faulty piece of hardware ensure all connections are tight and that all bolts on the dish are tight. Once you get 119 try gently pulling on the top of the dish and see if that increases the signal stregth and gets you 110 since it is at a higher elevation than 119. let me know if this helps.

Digital picture often gets jumbled for 2-3 seconds

This is often due to a limited line of sight issue such as foilage growing into the signal pathway. Often it occurs when the wind blows and the foilage sways into the signal path. From behind the dish look out at the angle of elevation the dish is pointed and try to identify if there are any obstructions in the area. If you are unable to determine this yourself call for a service call and they will assist you with obtaining a better line of sight. I hope that is helpful. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Dish Network - Dish 500 Satellite 110 is not being recognized

Lonnie, You have a simple problem, the 119 satellite is lower in the sky than the 119 if you make sure the pole you are mounted on is straight and plum ,then simply raise the dish a few elevation degrees and turn the dish to the left.Your dish is aimed low and to the right.
