Hi This means a
loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the
door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hi, I have the exact same issue as above. Top oven and control panel are dead, bottom oven lights up when door is open. Repair guy came, took oven apart, and is saying that I need to replace 4 control boards for 1300+ parts and labor. I'm not sure how much troubleshooting was done and if all the boards actually need to be replaced. He mentioned that he thinks the boards are fried but they did not smell burnt or anything. We also have a whole house surge supression at the breaker box (not sure if this makes a difference) and no other circuits appear to be damaged at all and the breaker did not flip.

@kirankanji, were you able to get your issue resolved and would you mind sharing how it was fixed? I came home and am having the exact same symptoms.
That exact scenario happened to us this week. I found a site (FixYourBoard.com ) that repairs the circuit boards rather than having the expense of replacing them but I would love to know how you solved your problem and how to determine which of the boards is causing the problem
