    I am sorry I have tried that option myself prior your tip. Its not working. Is that all you can offer?

    I have remove the SIM card, switched on my Cell phone.
    message: Please insert SIM - I ignored it & just followed steps below:
    Pressed # then
    Pressed * 3 times fast for (p)
    Pressed * 4 times fast for (w)
    Pressed * 2 times fast for (+)
    Then pressed #
    After that there are no changes on the screen instructions...I still have same message to insert SIM, or option to press SOS button or just switch phone off. Button OK still not available to use.

    Do you have any further instructions please? I did not get any prompted to use ieme code.

    Its all about Pac or PUC. Does not solve my locked handset issue.

You need to insert your Sim cards pin
This is on the original packaging of your sim card
It may be a few digits long.
You might want to ring your (vodafone) helpdesk They should be able to tell you the code if you have lost the package
Dont forget to rate this problem

    just to point out. iT is your sim card thats locked not your phone. So just tio revaluate use the sim card number, thats on the original packaging. or that can be found by calling up the help desk

    Just for the record. I had the same problem oin my phone when  friend tried to guess my code. I took it to a vodafone shop an that is what they told me

Sorry to inform you that, you must take your phone to a local service center to be unlocked. Or try a local phone shop for advice if they can't unlock it. This requires physical work and we can't do that over the internet.

    Remove the SIM card, Power On your Cell phone.
    Press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p)
    Press * 4 times fast for (w)
    Press * 2 times fast for (+)
    Verify code before pressing the last #.
    If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
    If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked



    refer to your ieme code and put it after

    pw+ _______________ # ( the blank is your ieme code.

    you can acquire the eime code by pressing *#06#

If u have already tryed a unlock code and the phone those not unlock. what happens to the phone?
I think you get 3 chances at entering the correct code then it is blocked! You can take it to a phone shop and have it reset back to factory settings!

Accidently hit phone lock and can't unlock it -- default doesn't work 0000
Step 1
Turn on the phone.
  • Step 2 Try to dial any number, and it will tell you the phone is locked. Press "Unlock."
  • Step 3 Once you press "Unlock," you will be prompted to enter the lock code or your PIN number. If your phone is locked and you never entered a lock code, the default lock codes are typically either the last four digits of your phone number or "0000."
  • Step 4 Enter your code and press "OK." Your phone is now unlocked.

    • If this doesnt work, try maybe 1234... And if none of that works, your cell phone service provider will be able to change it for you, as long and you can prove your the phones owner......
