Is your current audio driver not working? Your Optiplex GX520 is old enough that Dell does not provide a Win7 driver and you shouldn't need one specifically designed for Win7.

if u cant install the sound driver just buy a USB sound adaptor and connect it to the USB port and connect the speaker sound jack to the sound port in that....u will have sound....also keep in mind that u " may" have to disable onboard sound in BIOS get it in Ebay or goole it to locate a place near u
Hi dear, i have used dell optiplex GX520. when i used with winXP i can hear sound. but when i used win7 ultimate i can't hear sound.it show " the Audio service is not running ". but i turn on it all and it don't work too. please help me
