Depending on the year and model some can be replaced. you will have to take your model number to a plumbing supply store or a good hardware store,(or check the internet) and see if they can supply a new seal, if so it should be replaceable.
some of the newer one cannot be replaced, a ploy to make you buy a new one

My karcher k7.85 has lost pressure and the motor runs constantly when switched on ,motor only used to run when trigger pulled in on lance ,there is no leaks. Can any one help please.

Sounds like the pump seals are bad. The manual says to only use these a few minutes at a time, most people try to clean the patio etc with them, run them too long, and burn out the pump seals - don't ask me how I know this.

My problem with Karcher K2-59M is doesn't switch off when releasing spray trigger and it leaks water from two small holes in water inlet tube. I have stripped the washer down but find no solution. Also...

these units normally use a flow switch which actually feeds the pump motor failure to shut down causes overpressurization in pump head causing pump failure oil is normally sealed replacing the oil, pump has to be separated from motor and possible seal replacement unless u have a way to inject the oil through the lip of seal with out damaging it.

Pump seal removal

Please confirm if this is the pressure pump and if so the seal must be replaced with the correct type specially if it has worn out.
Also make sure that the fitment is tight and even so that there is no air gap for leak so as to reduce the pressure.
Source the seal gaskets from the service dealer.

I replaced the motor on my super 2 pump with a new shaft seal. Put it all back together including electrical and now it's leaking from the bottom. I retightened the screws to make sure they weren't loose...

Most likely leaking from either the shaft seal, or the valute seal (big seal plate o-ring). When you replaced the motor you should have also replaced the shaft seal. If not go back and do that whether it's leaking or not. If you get your head down and look at the bottom of the pump while it's running you should be able to see the water coming from the joint between the seal plate, and the seal plate housing, or just behind that from the bottom of the motor probably from the vent holes in the motor housing. If it's coming from the motor then the shaft seal is leaking, and the water is traveling along the shaft and out the bottom of the motor. This will eventually get into the motor and seize up the bearings. If it's coming from the valute seal, then you need to either replace or re-seat the seal. As a general rule you should always replace the shaft seal, and diffuser and seal plate o-rings when you replace the motor or split the seal. I'm not as familiar with the 2 speed hayward super 2, but the standard super 2's have a small ribbon seal, often called a rubber band. They are infamous for going bad especially after pulling the pump apart.

This June, I had to replace my strainer housing on my Hayward Power-Flo Matrix pump. It cracked in cold weather before I remembered to remove it. On installing a replacement, I noticed that the pump showed...

One or more of a couple issues is at play here. First would be the seal replacement. Even if you used the correct seal if you touched the surfaces or failed to install it properly it can and will leak. Second, inspect the housing around the seal fit and the stem of the impeller for cracks. A hairline crack is enough when placed under pump operating pressure to allow a leak. Somewhere in there is your solution.

My pool pump leaks water when it is on but not when it is off cnnnot find were the leak my be

When you shut it off, do you get a lot of 'gurgulling' out of the unit? If so, and the fact it leaks while on, likely means the leak is on the pressure side of the pump. That is the area behind the strainer basket and in front of the pump motor. Replacing the mechanical pump seal will probably fix it. Otherwise you would have a crack in the plastic somewhere. While replacing the seal, replace the body gasket. Both parts are under $10 total.
