Having multiples feed even after replacing roller kit, If i put a little preasure on the top cover it will work fine any ideas??

The paper feed kit is the pick up rollers and the transfer rollers. You can thake those out clean them and replace them, but unless you are actually having paper feed issues usually just clean the paper tray feed rollers with alcohol and reset the paper feed kit counter if needed.

Have you replaced the pickup rollers yet? The rollers are the most common cause of paper jams and multi-sheet paper feeds. The pickup rollers come in a kit with rollers for tray 1 and tray 2 along with a new transfer roller. The kit is available here:

Look at your pickup rollers, they should have a rough surface almost like a fingerprint, if the surface is smoother then they need to be replaced.

Paper feeding kit for MP tray

(1) Disconnect the AC cord from the Printer.
(2) Press the front cover release button.
(3) Open the Front cover.
(4) Remove the Drum/toner ASSY.

Open the MP feed frame cover. (6) Remove the Holder bearing MP. Lift up the Lift arm MP to release it from the Pin of the MP roller holder ASSY. (8) Slide the MP roller holder ASSY to the direction of the arrow 8a and put it up to remove. (1) Put the Hook of the Separation pad ASSY MP into the MP feed frame and pull down the Separation pad ASSY MP to the direction of the arrow 1b until it is locked. You could be having feed issues. I would suggest you have a technician clean the paper path sometime the rollers get a little shiney and don't pickup the paper like they should. A certified technician will also replace any rollers if needed and perform a maintenance cleaning.

There is a recall fix on this printer if it has specific feed problems like pulling in multiple sheets etc. Might be related. You can contact HP and they'll send you a DIY fix kit to replace the rubber that pulls the sheet in and onto the rollers.

Unfortunately you have come to a dilema of the printer world. The rollers are mearly chunks of rubber, expected to last forever and pick up pieces of paper. Every time a piece of paper is picked up, it drys out the rollers, and dust covers the rollers. Here is a temporary solution.

Temp Solution: Open the printer, look for rollers, you will likely find several small black in color, rollers. You may see cracking, or white powder on the rollers. Even if you don't, here is your solution. Take a damp paper towel, and wipe each roller thoroughly. Make sure you look all around to make sure you are getting all rollers.

Longer solution: Purchase a maintenance kit for your printer. I know HP carries them for their printers (HP is the way to go with printers). They will include rollers, and little tools to obtain the rollers along with detailed instructions. If they do not make one, find one broken on ebay for 12 dollars and get that. The kit would have cost you between 12 and 30 dollars anyways.

Remove left cover (where the USB connection is located);
Remove gear with a spring on it (you may need to unscrew the PCB that partially covers it);
There is a clutch that sticks to the rubber pad behind this gear. You may put a piece of scotch tape towards to a rubber pad, so the plastic from the clutch mechanism wouldn't stick anymore.

Check for a switch on the scanner that is made to feed single pages or multiple pages. If it is on single page it can multi jam all the time.
As far as the rollers go there is a pick up roller, separation roller, and a feed roller. You can clean them with rubbing alcohol to see if its indeed the tires that are bad. The exchange kit has all three tires in it that are user replaceable.

take out the paper feeder try, and look at the pickup roller.
The roller may be at the point of smooth and shining.

Needs feed roller replaced, you can see it when you remove cassette and look up, they wear and tray one uses a diiferent feed roller hence it still works. Cleaning the roller (rag with a little metho) sometimes helps but it should be replaced otherwise it will return.
