My school room printer Dell 5130cdn is out of color ink, however it does still have black ink, how can i get the printer to print with just the black ink?

when in print section go to settings and click on black or unclick color
be aware that color is need to get black and white reproductions ( copies)

Reset fuser message on dell 5130

Johnathan, Reset the life counter:
  1. Enter the printer's tech mode by quickly pressing the sequence of keys Menu > Up Arrow > Left Arrow > Tick > Right Arrow > Cancel > Menu. If tech mode does not appear, Re do key sequence again as quickly as possible. A delay in pressing the keys will stop the menu from opening.
  2. Select tech menu , data setup, Clear fuser count.
  3. Restart the printer.
  4. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

Dell 5130cdn prints pictures slow, how do I fix it?

The time taken to print a picture depends up on its size, resolution,quality, paper standard. the quality may reduce to normal or draft also resolution, This may produce less quality image. However the paper standard may not reduced as it require the proper temp. to fix the image on paper.

Printer refreshing

It is probably clearing the memory for the next job- some printer just do it and others are made to report such things. Best to consult the owners manual and if nothing else call Dell- they are good at selling the unit now see how good they are at support. I don't buy Dell myself.

Sounds like you have no communication between the print and PC on the network, check the network cables, both devices are on the same network, ping the printer, assuming you can access the internet.
