Hi heather,
As David mentioned more info would be appreciated, but itsounds like you just want the remote for TV1 to work TV2. With the remotesyou're given originally it is not possible, though if you were to get an UHFremote and put it on the same frequency/address as TV2's remote with the correctkey in the bottom it would change them both.
Another option that may be easier is switching the receiver to Single mode bypressing the mode button on the right side of the receiver. You can also mirrorthe TV's by connecting another cable from the TV1 port to the TV2 and they willshow the same programming. If you have any other questions you can reach me at [email protected]

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you are trying to use a second TV without a remote or if you are trying to set up TV 2. The two remotes are different so, they will not perform on both Tv's. Please gine me more info on what you are trying to do.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Robert, my name is Cheri Torres and I work on the Social Media Team at DISH. It sounds like your remote is experiencing IR(Infrared) interference from your LG TV. You can resolve this issue by converting your TV1 remote to UHF(Ultra High Frequency) instead of IR. In order to do this you will need a UHF remote, the 20.0 remote is only an IR remote. Please email me directly at [email protected] with your account number or phone number on the account so that I can look into getting a UHF remote sent out. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Tommy Faust with DISH Network. I'd be happy to help with that problem. I would need a bit more information to ensure we fix that quickly though. Is it a tv 2 remote or a tv1 remote, and how many receivers do you have? Post back to me here if you still require assistance.

Having trouble getting my Dish Universal remote to connect to my Insignia 19" flats screen television. I think it is the silver (ES3189) model remote

traceroberso,

I came across your post. Are you still having problems with your DISH Network remote operating your Insignia TV? If you still are, I have 2 codes you can try to see if it will work on your TV. The codes are: 720, 539. The steps to program the remote to the TV are below.

Remotes: Basic (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On
  2. Press and Hold the TV Power button for three seconds until the LED flashes
  3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
  4. Press OK. Note: The LED will flash three times.
  5. Test functionality with the TV
  6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

Remote for box 1 is changing channels for remote 2 and remote 2 does not work

Are you getting the same picture on both TVs - TV 1 and TV 2? Depending on the receiver model, you have a mode button either on the front of the receiver or behind a door on the right side of the receiver. You also should have a green (TV 1), amber (mode), and blue (TV 2) lights on the receiver. If TV 2 is one, the blue light should be lit. The amber light should be lit under the dual mode. Press and release the mode button on the receiver to put the receiver in dual mode. The blue light (TV 2) should illuminate now and this will give you independent operation between the two TVs. I hope this helps.

Pick up remote #2 press and hold sat key until it blinks press record 3 times . press red power button and if tv2 light goes off and on the remote should work again for tv2 . My dvr remote 2 has been taken over by my other tv2 remote is there a way activate the former remote? I just had a hdtv dual dvr installed and a new dual reciever. I already had a dual dvr. When I had the...

Unplug one of the receivers. Now go to the second and with the TV1 remote press MENU-MENU and you will see the two remote addresses displayed. On the TV 2 remote that is associated to turn off the TV2 with this receiver press and hold the SAT button on the top left of the remote until all the buttons across the top illuminate. Now key in a two digit number that differs from the one for TV2 displayed on the screen. Now press the pound sign and the SAT button will flash three times. Next press the small record button until the TV2 address changes to the correct two digit number. Now you should be able to turn the other receiver back on and be able to control each TV2 independent of each other. Thanks for using Fix Ya. If you need further assistance let me know.

I need to program my URC-4220 ONE FOR ALL remote to operate my new dual dishnetwork dual dvr for tv number 2. Help

tamiwalsh333

With the TV 2 remote, it needs to be a UHF type remote. Since the signal goes through solid objects (walls, etc.), you should check to see if this remote has that capability. I have provided codes you can try to program the remote to the receiver. I hope this helps.
