Keeps on pausing when playing cds
tried using cd cleaner cd
It does not necessarily mean that the lens of the player might be dirty when you experience this kind of problems. It may be as a result of a weak lens or damaged disc.
You can try getting a disc with a clean face and try to see if it does the same thing. Also, make sure that you use a soft piece of cloth to clean the face of the disc before playing. Try to do this as gently as possible as it would help to remove some amount of hitches.
Also, the lens of the player might be weak and require replacement. In this case, no matter how you use the cd cleaner, it is not going to help unless you replace the lens.
Lastly, the recording of the disc might be bad and may require you to purchase another one. Sometimes, some discs have bad recordings and cannot play without hitches. This is a fault that comes from the production and not from your disc or player.
The best way to avoid these hitches are by doing the following.
1. Keep your discs in a clean and dust free environment.
2. Make sure you always keep the player closed so as to protect the lens from dust.
3. Ensure that you play disc with clean surface as scratched surface could result in a damaged lens.
