Here is a solution: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/samsung-bd-c6900/10895
Please note, however, that even
after region code hack, it may remain NTSC only, so if you are planning to
play European DVDs recorded with PAL system, it may not work.
U from Europe,Asia or the Middle East?Yes.Ur Blu-Ray player play only DVD disc in PAL format.U bought American DVD disc in the United States?Yes.U can't play american DVD disc in ur Blu-Ray player?Because the US American DVD disc u bought in the United State play only in the NTSC format.
you need to finalize the disc. With the recorded disc in, hit the "disc navigation" button and you will see a place to hit "finalize". Move cursor to "finalize" and then click "yes". You can only finalize a disc using the AC power source, it will not do it from your battery. You should then be able to play it on your dvd player.

Many DVD players are preset to one region and if you use a DVD destined for any other region, the player will refuse to play. Some players have the option to change this to universal mode. Check your player's manual if yours has this facility.
Yes. You can play VCD movies and and Audio CDs on most players.
no region selection is preset from factory, whats the disc like? any big scrapes? also did you clean disc going from centre to outside in small wipes of about 3cm wide untill youve gone right round? cleaning the disc across will push dust into the grooves
