Hi,
You have to check the wiring of the Main speaker. By i means you have to check the "wire" for the main speaker from the payer to the speaker. If you have use 4 speakers then you have to check all the wire of 4 speakers. Because if any one of the wire touch to the ground (chase) any where due to the bad insulation the the player will not out the audio. It will sence the short with the groun and will switch off the ouput amplifier. My be the wire is touching some time that why its works for weeks and then go off. Also you have to chek the leads of the speaker is there is any conact to the ground (chase). Also check for any short between the speaker wires. If so this will happen. This will not affect the sub. That way its work perfectly.

Why is only one speaker working in my s10

Look for a broken wire first. the speaker itself may be blown or an internal problem with the radio. either of which would require replacement.

1998 chevy s10 Head unit and dash display not working

You may have damaged the instrument cluster. The PCM has to receive a code from the instrument panel to start. Its part of the security system. Beyond checking fuses you are going to have to take it to a qualified mechanic with the proper diagnostic equipment. It sounds like you wired something incorrectly

Radio Speakers

Its possible that some wires are loose, considering both rear speakers are not working and not just one. Your best bet is to check for any loose wires behind the front deck or behind the rear speakers.

1991 chevy s10

It doesn't need an amp, it has one built into the radio. You may have it wired wrong. Please tell me what color the wires are coming from the radio that you have connected to the speakers. Each channel has it's own color, with the black stripe wire being the negative for each channel. Example: the gray wire is positive for front left speaker and the grey with a black stripe is the negative for the front left. Make sure that none of your speaker wires are grounded to the chassis.

System was working fine and now there's no sound, but deck still does everything else.

The speaker wiring might be damaged. ( cauese :- Wires getting caught to door, Heavy weights can also seperate wires by breaking them ).
