Yep. If Sony's own website can't help you. Then it's a phone issue or the bluetooth device your trying to link too.
You may want to delete all the device name paired before, then after that reset your phone. This is not a hundred percent that will work but most of the time it works.

Can't be. There's no way it can be the phone if everything checks out with the phone and with sony's web help. It has to be the device your connecting too.

Plugin your USB Cable and using the Sony Ericksson app on your computer, update your firmware. If you update your firmware and it STILL doesn't work, then i am afraid its the phone.

I did the instruction you provided but the problem remains same.
In that case it seems that the BT module has gone bust and I wonder if it can be replaced. Please try the nearest SE Service Centre as it seems to be a HW problem which they alone can solve.

It's kindof impossible to fix it. You should consider buying a new phone. Also, see for guides on how to dismantle it, and sell parts on Ebay if you want to make some money.

You can master reset you device and your settings.............it might solve your problem. Try to master reset your settings first, if the problem persists then device master reset.
The problem could be simple you can do just switch off your mobile and then turn it on after few seconds . Then try to switch on bluetooth .
I hope it will solve your problem .
If it is not solved , rush to the nearest service center .

Try restoring your phone to the factory settings (do a master reset), if do so , most of the software related issues will be solved.Otherwise the unit should be observed by a skillful mobile technician.Regards,Ramaly

After reading all that you have been told to do and all that you have done, it seems it is a HW failure for which you must contact the nearest SE Service Centre for rectification of the problem if possible.

That is a very clear link of what you have to do. It has pictures and a great explanation. Remove your bluetooth antenna, clean it, then reinstall it.

How do u say there is no Bluetooth , what are you trying to do.
I mean to say when I tried to switch on my Bluetooth on the phone,it shows nothing. I found no bluetooth device symbol and unable to connect my Laptop. I tried all possible solution suggested by the expert of above.But nothing happens useful.I think I can describe whole of the problem.

Such problem on a sony ericsson phone can be caused by one of two major reasons.
First of all, if it so happens that when you turn on your bluetooth and you try to pair another device but the device fails to discover your phone, it might be a mere issue of you not setting your phone's bluetooth to be discovered. All you need to do is to check under the bluetooth settings and you should see something like "allow devices to discover bluetooth", it may be in another term but basically should mean that.
Secondly, your phone might need some major updates. It is also very likely that on production of your phone, some issues might have occurred which might have disabled your bluetooth from functioning properly. If the company discovers any such errors, they are most likely to fix it in a software update. You can visit the link below to see more information on updating your device software.

If all the above doesn't work, you might have to ask a repairer to flash your phone or better still, get a replacement as the phone might have some other serious issues yet to be discovered.

Enable your bluetooth discovery mode.
Normally people confirm the bluetooth ON by looking in to other phone. Showing bluetooth ON on W580i is by two ways. In spite having bluetooth ON, you can get as it is OFF if the blutooth item "visibility" is kept as "hide phone" In this case your phone will be viewed by only the devices (including phones) which you have allowed access by including them in "My Devices". The bluetooth sign is differently shown in such case. Make your the item "visibility" under bluetooth menu to "show phone". This should work.Apart from this keep in mind that certain make & models of other manufacturers may or may not support Sony Ericsson phones for bluetooth, which may be intermittent. If this does not solve your problem, then back up your contacts & other data on memory card and go to General menu - Master reset - reset settings. All your settings will be reset & start afresh. The last resort will be to update the software through Sony Ericsson Update Service.

It looks like component failure in your mobile. Was it dropped sometime ago? You need to get it done by service centre.

Dropping causes hairline cracks on PCBs & soldering joints of chips (SMDs) on PCB, which are hard to locate & not to be seen by ***** eyes. You cannot be sure where it is. You need professional equipments to repair the mobile. e.g. digital oscilloscope, temperature controlled soldering station.
It is a good idea about posting a video. I went through it, but I hardly could read anything as resolution is very low & the video is blurred. Please make the video again with a digital camera or high resolution video with 5 megapixel mobile. You can post series of pictures.

Hey, first> try searching your device from other phones and try sending files from your phone. second>delete everything from your phone and do a factory reset.. third> still not solved... if your phone is under warranty go to the nearby showroom and replace it!!!
