Restart your computer and power-cycle your printer off and back on.

Make sure the paper tray is not overloaded.

Make sure the paper in the tray firmly pushed into the paper tray towards the printer.

SOURCE: Epson Stylus CX3600 error

remove the cartridges then, the press and hold all the available buttons on your printer where it could cause a machine resetting...

you could also remove the cartridges then wipe the circuitry of the cartridge... (the gold-like connector)

then turn off your printer without putting back the cartridges... (leave it turned off for 5 minuets)

turn your printer on then it should be ok

(post back if it doesn't work)

SOURCE: i need reset software for epson cx3600 as i have

The SSC utility will allow you to reset the waste counter on this printer... You may find that this is a general error though in which case resetting won't make any difference.

Epson cx3600 says not to press ink button unless green on button is on and not flashing but as soon as i turn on it starts to flash

The flashing green light on your Epson Stylus CX3600 printer is indicating an error with the ink system. The error message you mentioned, "not to press the ink button unless the green light is on and not flashing", is likely referring to the ink button that is located on the side of the printer and is used to reset the ink levels.
To resolve the issue with the flashing green light, try the following steps:
  1. Turn off the printer: Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source.
  2. Clean the ink cartridges: Remove the ink cartridges from the printer and clean the contacts with a soft, damp cloth. Make sure not to touch the ink nozzles or the copper contacts.
  3. Check for clogs: If the problem persists, check the ink cartridges for clogs and clean the print head.
  4. Reinstall the ink cartridges: Reinstall the ink cartridges into the printer, making sure that they are properly seated.
  5. Turn on the printer: Connect the printer to the power source and turn it on.
  6. Check the green light: Observe the green light and make sure it is no longer flashing

Urgent: red light error on Epson Stylus CX3650

It appears that this is an overseas model (at least for those here in the US that is) as far as I can tell. This will use the same drivers as the CX3600 model though. Depending on how long you have had this and how often you use it, you may have a waste ink reset situation. While I have not had any personal experience with this model, there are several references on the internet on how to do a reset. There is even an "SSC Service Utility" you can search for that lists this printer as being supported. It cannot reset the ink counters but it may reset the waste.
Good luck, I hope this is of some help.

Epson stylus cx3600 printer

Every time an Epson printer "cleans" itself, it dumps ink into "waste pads". The printer counts up how much ink it has put in those waste pads, and will stop printing when it believes the pads are full. You may be able to reset the counter with software. Google, "epson waste counter reset" for ways to do that.
