There is a clicking sound periodically coming from the right pedal while I use the machine (Precor 546i). I tried tightening the bolts but the clicking persists. Any thought would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Take off the covers and check the bolts .They do come loose.

It could be a combination of the wheel and the ramp. We offer ramp sleeves to correct the surface issue. Precor Elliptical Ramp Sleeve Installation Video

could be the pad underneath (i have the 5.25 model). Needs to make solid contact with the floor. There is a bolt above the pad than you can screw with a box wrench. That solved our clicking problem. The center pad was loose and not making solid contact with teh floor.

It could be the input drive bearings going out. I would suggest removing the back side covers of the unit and inspecting the drive assembly when its in use. Watch for deviations in the the circular motion of the crank arms. If it moves side to side or drops in the rotation its time to have the input replaced.
