Will the Motorola DS6707DC Operate when connected to a 64bit Windows 7 computer? If so does it require a different type of connector, special USB, RS232, etc. If not what is a work around. Where can I obtain the drivers to make this work? Where can I find the Driver Requirements?

SOURCE: HDTV

I don't think the DCT2244 has an RF bypass output and it is not HD enabled. Hence, you will need a cable splitter so that the unscrambled splitter outputs can go to the TV and the CABLE BOX independently. This will enable you to pick up any available unscrambled HDTV signals your provider offers as well as the channels you are subscribed to that require the box for decoding.

SOURCE: Can't connect the Zebra 105SL printer through RS232 port.

And, once you have the null modem adapter or cable, you need to make sure the serial settings on the printer match your port settings on the PC.

SOURCE: TELEPHONE HOOK-UP REQUIREMENTS

Just a plain telephone cord, plug it in. Go into setup and setup your fax name and number that will appear on the fax your sending. Set the number of rings before answering. Place a test fax call to some fax machine.

  1. Send a one page black and white text fax to 1-888-hpfaxme (1-888-473-2963).
  2. When your fax is received by the HP Test Fax Service, we will generate a return fax to you within five minutes confirming that we received your fax. This verifies that you can both send and receive a fax with your fax machine.
If you do not receive a return fax within 5-7 minutes, there may be a problem with the setup of your fax machine. Consult the user manual that came with the product for proper setup and configuration.

Can I install a software package over the one on the computer.

It is done all the time. IF the directory is damaged then you would install it in a different directory for example instead of c:\windows you would create a new directory like for example it c:\win7. It is also true for every verson of windows ever made. Good Luck.

Lenovo 3000 n200 built in camera not working in windows 7

Instructions

1

Identify why you need an HDMI connection from your computer. Because the 2764 does not have an HDMI port, you will need to obtain some sort of adapter to connect to an HDMI device. There are a number of different ways to achieve that connection.
2

Purchase an external USB video card with an HDMI output. These devices have a number of benefits, including the ability to display a different image on the HDMI output than that which is being displayed on the screen. One example of these devices is the Sabrent USB-2011 which can display a 1080p HD signal over its HDMI connector. Other devices will also include support for audio and send it along the HDMI wire with the video signal.
3

Use a DVI-to-HDMI adapter if you have a Lenovo ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video. This device takes the computer's existing video card and displays its signal over DVI. DVI-to-HDMI adapters are both affordable and easy to obtain.
4

Convert the computer's VGA output directly to HDMI. Because VGA is an analog signal and HDMI digital, doing this requires a special piece of hardware such as the StarTech VGA to HDMI converter with audio. Simple VGA to HDMI cables will not work, due to the lack of digital output from the T400's VGA port.

I am going to connect two pc's together useing a male to male usb cable, the problem I have is that one pc is xp pro and one is windows 7 64bit Home premiem. Any help would appreciated. Regards,Gary

There are several different kinds of USB-USB cables on the market. The one used to connect two PC's is called "bridged" (or "USB networking cable"), because it has a small electronic circuit in the middle allowing the two PCs to talk to each other. There are the so-called A/A USB cables that, in spite of having two standard USB connectors at each end, don't have a bridge chip and cannot be used to connect two PCs. In fact, if you use an A/A USB cable you can burn the USB ports of your computers or even their power supplies. So, these A/A USB cables are completely useless. A/B USB cables are used to connect your computer to peripherals such as printers and scanners, so they also won't fit your needs.

Thanks

I am trying to connect my Sony DCR-TRV10E to my home computer via ilink-USB cable, but my computer does not recognize the Camcorder.... I guess this is due to missing drivers for Windows 7. Can anyone help...

USB and i.Link cables are not the same thing. What Sony call i.Link everyone else calls Firewire, DV or IEEE1394, and it is a different standard from USB with different connectors.

This type of camera usually downloads better with a Firewire (DV) connection. Some mini-DV cameras only use the USB connection (if they have one) for stills and can only download video by Firewire. This is because you have to play the tape into the computer, not just copy a file. If you are trying to use a USB cable for video download, then it won't work for this camera. The driver is not the problem, this model is not on the Sony list of cameras that will download video over USB.

Most PCs have a USB port, but no Firewire port. Macs often have a Firewire port but may not have USB. As most Windows PCs do not come with this interface, you might need to fit an add-on Firewire interface card. This will come with a driver for the card.

Suitable Firewire (DV) cables can easily be found on Amazon or eBay. You will need the kind with a small (four pin) connector at one end and a larger (six pin) connector at the other. My camera came with the correct lead.

There is a Sony tutorial page for downloading at THIS LINK You will need to select Windows as the operating system, then Mini-DV as the camera type, then select the type of connection. As you will see, the USB option warns that it won't work with many Mini-DV cameras.

Do i need special drivers for xp 64 bit? Broadxent V.92 56K PCI...

Windows XP 64 needs entirely different drivers than Win XP 32, and Windows Vista/7 64bit/32bit.

If you can not find specialized drivers, there is nothing you can do to make it work.
