f21 implies that there is a drain pump problem, u may have abd pump or clogged pump or hoses?

F21 LONG DRAIN
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes the water valves turn off.
NOTES:
After 4 minutes the "Sd" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the "F/21" error code will be displayed.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
4. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
7. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
8. Replace the pump.

You might be able to tip it over on it's side and get the nail to fall down to the edge so you can get a magnet between the inner and outer tub and get it out I did that one time. Hope this helps.

Seattle, unplug from the wall outlet for 1 min, this may allow the electronics to reboot, if not get a wet/dry vac and remove the water from the drain hose if you can not remove water this way then something has plug the pathway to the drain pump assy. some of these frontloader have a pull line that will allow you to release the latch assy to open the door, some are located as the soap disp area do not try to pull the door open the door latch will break and cost$$$$ to replace.

sounds like you have covered all the bases --- the next thing that I would try is to simply unplug the unit from the wall and let is sit for a minute or two and then plug back in. if this does not solve your F21 code, then I would say that the problem is at the sensor or main circuit board.

F21 is too long to drain:: (more than 4 mins) Check your drain hose outflow into a couple of 5 gal buckets it should flow pretty fast. If not, there is both a suds sensor and the water level pressure switch that can be causing the problem. Since you do not have SUDS showing on your control panel I am assuming the suds sensor is fine. The water pressure switch itself can cause the problem even if you hear audible clicks when testing with an external hose. A clogged drain pump strainer can do the same thing. Lastly... the obvious... is the drain hose kinked???? Good luck and hope this helps.

troubleshooting with the F20code what it says in the trouble shooting section:

Ff20 (water inlet problem, no water or insufficient water supply)

Select stop twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or disconnect power.

Check the following:

Are water faucets completely turned on?

Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?

Are water inlet hoses kinked?

Are water inlet hoses frozen?

Plug in washer. Re select cycle and press start.
