Sir you might want to charge your phone and try to use other SIM Card if SIM card registration failed error still occur maybe its time to buy a new one

this is what happened to my 5230 before..suggest u try to contact ur service provider to check ur sim registration details.normally,registration failed when u type a wrong pin code more than 3 times..or try to reset ur phone by press *#7370#...gud luck..
I am sorry to hear regarding the trouble. This simply indicates that the SIM has gone bad and needs replacement. You need to go to any of the nearby centers and buy a new SIM ( same number would be activated on the new SIM ). If you are in INDIA, this is a common problem with Airtel.They would charge around Rs 50 for the new SIM and it would be activated within 24 hours.
When the message sim card registration failed comes up it is usually as a result of one of 2 things the first being that the phone has not recognized the sim card due to an improper fixing or the sim card has become faulty. Check that sim valid, Check with another sim card if problem not shows sim card may complaint do as follows Take the sim crd out and rub gently with a cotton cloth, and reinsert it. Or take to service provider & ask him to give duplicate sim. If problem with mobile try to dial *#7370#(Format), Or take mobile to Nokia care(Problem might be network ic).
this happens when ur sim cant establish registration with the preffered networkk . this is not a phone problem . ur sim card may not hve been used for long time (recharging account) . please contact the nearest office of ur network provider
You're probably trying to use a SIM card from a network not supported by the country you're in.
Some networks don't have a roaming agreement between two or more networks service providers to enable the users of one service provider to use their services.
Purchase a new SIM card from a popular network in that country. Ask them to unlock your phone at the same time, because it might be locked on the original network, like Orange, Vodafone, t-mobile etc...
