Nintendo Wii Error Code 51031 This error code means that the wireless network within range is not configured or is not compatible with your Nintendo Wii. -Make sure the router you are using is compatible. You can see a list of compatible routers by clicking here -Make sure the SSID(network name) you enter into the Wii settings matches the SSID of your router. This includes making sure capitalization, spaces, or special characters match exactly. You can log in to your router by going to the gateway address of the router(usually 192.168.1.1 and type this into your internet browser), and going into the wireless settings section. Power cycle the equipment. Turn off all devices(modem, router and Wii). After 10 seconds turn on the modem, after 30 seconds turn on the router and after 30 seconds turn on the Wii.
