EBAY IS YOUR BEST CHOICE, if you have the original remote it has a clu number on it. If the set is over 7 years old the remote is likely not available from Hitachi.

Yes, almost ANY hitachi remote made in the last ten years will work.

The original will have a CLU-5722-TSI marked on the front. Lots of them on Ebay and other sites.

Google the model number with the word remote after it and see how many there are.

Lots of universal remotes will be missing functions only on the original remote. That remote will operate all the projection, LCD, PLASMA, and regular sets made by Hitachi for at least the last 15 years.

I know, it works on my 1991 Hitachi rear projection set perfectly.
