Thanks for using Fixya.com

If you have wii problems, like disk read error's,blank screens, stuck disks, sync problems or anything, your best solution is to use a wii repair guide

you can pick up a wii repair guide for less than $20 and there very handy to have. you will not need to send your console away, just consult your guide and do the fix.

good wii repair guides will be accompanied with a website that will have forums to discuss problems and get help of people who have fixed there own wii's

Have a look at this website Everything Wii the guide on here is the one i use its very good.

i have the same problem i try two diferent disc y nothing happen. same error . i dont think is my wii console.

Hi,

If the Wii is having trouble with a disk, it means there's either a problem with the disk or the Wii. If your Wii can't read any disks then you'll want to contact Nintendo. Otherwise you need to investigate your disk.

If you hold the bottom side of the disk to the light you should be able to see if there's a smudge or scratch. If it's a smudge, cleaning the disk will often fix the problem. I like to use the microfiber cloths used to clean eyeglasses or, short of that, a tissue. Just rub the smudged spot. (When using a tissue I generally steam up the spot with my breath first.) If the disk looks good, put it back into the Wii and see what happens.

A scratch is more problematic. If it's a game you just bought, try exchanging it where you bought it. Otherwise you can try polishing out the scratch.

Some older Wii units also have trouble with dual layer discs, which pack more info onto a disk (Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metroid Prime use dual layer discs). If your Wii is having trouble reading a dual layer disc you can try Nintendo's Wii lens cleaning kit. If all fails and still you Wii cant read any disk it only means that the Wii is malfunctioning.

nintendo wii message reads: error occured remove disc turn off console check operations manual for information! on 2 new games

Hi,

Some older Wii units also have trouble with Dual Layer Discs, which pack more info onto a disk like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metroid Prime. If your Wii is having trouble reading a dual layer disc you can try Nintendo's Wii lens cleaning kit. the other resolution for this is to change the laser on the system but it will cost you for that. Try to clean the lens first it might read the new disk.

And also you can try to use a different disk to check if your system will be able to read it. then try the Wii Fit Plus If after all that, your Wii still can't read the disc, it's probably just a bad disc.
