What you are experiencing is trouble connecting issues with Yahoo Messenger. It is easy to set up an account with yahoo messenger and it will let you sign in for a few days but if the Windows Internet Explorer installed in your computer is outdated then after a few days it will be impossible for you to sign in at Yahoo messenger.

The connection of Yahoo Messenger rely on the Internet Explorer of Windows. The best solution for your problem is to upgrade Internet Explorer with a newer version. The best to suggest is Internet Explorer version 8. It doesn't matter if you are using a different web browser. Just install Internet Explorer 8 and do not default it as your browser if you are using other web browser as your default.

After installing IE 8, the next thing to do is uninstall and reinstall your Yahoo Messenger. It will be better if you install YM version 10. After you have completely install it, restart your computer and sign-in in just a second. It will surely works.
