How to put the belt on aiwa stereo full automatic turntable px e855

Lift off the rubber cover. On some turntables, you can pull the whole metal platter straight-up now. Put the belt on the outside of the bottom of the platter and drop platter back into the turntable base. Do NOT put the rubber cover back on yet. There should be one or two openings in the platter where you can see the pulley for the motor. Slowly rotate the turntable platter until the opening is over the top of the motor pulley. Now use a nail file to gently pull the rubber belt over the pulley. It should spin freely now. Now put the rubber cover back on and try it out. Belts are available from MCM Electronics and over online vendors. Let me know how it goes. Good luck.

installation of motor drive belt on cub cadet tractor

This one's a PITA. That said, I had to remove the PTO clutch and pulley, the seat, the brake and transmission pedals, and finally the sheet metal that constitutes the fenders and foot plates.

Belt is put over the fan above the transmission and onto the pulley there, then run along bottom of main frame towards the front until it reaches the engine drive shaft.

The belt goes onto a pulley on the engine drive shaft (above the PTO clutch and pulley, which have to come off). I couldn't slide the drive pulley down the shaft, so pulled the 4 engine mounting bolts and move the engine around slightly to allow putting the new belt on between the pulley and it's surrounding sheet metal. Once the belt was on, and before any other steps, I realigned the engine mounting holes and replace the bolts.

The belt is then run around the pulleys under the middle section of the tractor. Leave the spring loaded idler pulley for last. you might need to loosen (not remove) the bolt that goes through the idler pulley in order to get the belt on. The biggest fight is pulling the spring loaded pulley over so that you can put the belt onto it.

Once the belt is fully routed over all pulleys. Reinstall everything that you had to remove - and you should be good-to-go.

ONE LAST COMMENT: Many shops sell belts that DON'T have Kevlar. Make sure you but the one WITH Kevlar. The others rarely last one season.

yeah hello there , im trying fitt a belt two hotpoint washing machine wf100p , i havn't taken the back off putting the belt on the motor first the on two the drum wheel gradualy turning the wheel to put belt on , been trying for 2 hours and there is no way that i can get on , any advice thankyou ?

You are doing the right thing. Hook the belt onto the motor pulley, then onto the main pulley as far as it will go, use a few cable ties to hold it on the pulley and turn the drum anti clockwise, the cable ties will snap as the pulley turns. Hotpoint have made a tool for putting these belts on but you woudn't want to pay out just for one belt.Belt fitting Diagram link

belt has come how do i get it back on

Wrap the belt back on the drum, then wrap back on the motor pulley. Make sure you get on the pulley groves, not on the shaft on the motor. Witht the idler pull back past the motor. Put the belt by the idler and release the idler gently. The idea is to have the tension of the belt on the idler.
