Home decorating trends and paint colors

When decorating a new home and choosing appliances consider if a trend is new or old. For example, by 2019 stainless steel appliances are old, not trendy any more. I hate them anyway because they make a kitchen look cold. That's OK if you live where it's hot and humid, I guess. So, too, is the white with black countertops kitchen. Color and style trends usually start with clothing and during 3-5 years work their way to home appliances and paint colors. Newer trends in kitchen appliances are other metal colors like cooper or gold. Every year a company called Pantone chooses a color to promote. Sometimes it's adopted, sometimes ignored. You're not going to change home colors with it.

So many people are afraid of color on walls. You can paint one wall, buy a sheet and tack it up, install colored light bulbs to see how you feel about a color. I like warm colors on walls. For small rooms, use one color. If it's pastel, anchor it with something dark, art on the wall, a small rug, or you'll get the feeling that you are floating in the room. Maybe that's not so bad for a bathroom. In any case, gray is dead, not use grays. If there is a new, "hot" color in women's fashion, that will be a trend in home furnishings, if it's successful, in a few years. Try color, don't be a chicken.

I have two options for you to consider. One is to take your panel to any sheet metal fabricating shop and have them make a stainless steel version for you.
