I have a Singer 4562 T sewing machine. When I try to sew the bobbin case is jumping out of the housing. With the slide closed I sew until everything gets a mess on the underside. When opening the housing slide I find the bobbin case is at a weird angle and almost jammed . I have tried everything that I read about this issue but cannot find the solution. Can someone PLEASE help me! I live in the far north , Canada and cannot get to a repair shop to get it fixed!

pl open the entire bobbin housing two scrwes with suitable screw driver and clean .test the latch on the bobbin case,look for steel tension strip screw replace the unit ,also replace needle

I have a Singer 2517. The needle hits the plate, just misses the hole to connect with bobbin thread. Is there a fix?

Is your needle inserted all the way? Sometimes it is the simple things that are the problem. Do you have your manual? There is a site online singerco.com that will let you download it for free.
