It is advisable to avoid laying a refrigerator on its side. The oil in the compressor can
flow into the cooling lines when the refrigerator is tipped onto its
side. When returned to an upright position, there is a risk that the oil
will not completely drain from the cooling lines and the refrigerator
will not cool.
Hello, Yes you can move your side by side laying on it's back..it is most important though that when you have it in it's new place you leave it unpluged for 24 hours so the oils can run back into the compressor. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment again...Mike
