Tip & How-To about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

EPrinter Not Detecting iPhone or iPad to "Airprint" or "Direct Print"

I run an ePrinter wirelessly (WiFi) off a ASUS EA-N66 wireless repeater. This tip pertains to a HP 6525 printer in case you find this attempting to correct the same problem.
When first connected everything connected except the "Airprint" features or 'Direct Print" off my iPhone and iPad. I found the default printer settings were set to "Simultaneous IPv4 & IPv6". The iPhone/iPads communicate at IPv4. Theoretically they should function in the "Simultaneous IPv4 & IPv6" setting but they did not. Changing to the "IPv4" only setting corrected the issue and the printer functions with everything I have including a WiFi PC laptop, a Wifi Mac, iPhone and iPad.

How do I print from my iPad to my wireless printer?

If your wireless printer is an HP, HP has an app called "HP ePrint" on the iTunes App store. I have used it with good success.
